Meet the 2022 Housing Solutions Workshop Cities

We are thrilled to announce the five places selected to participate in the 2022 Housing Solutions Worskhop, a three-week intensive virtual program of seminars, strategic consultation, and team-building created by NYU Furman Center’s Housing Solutions Lab, Abt Associates, and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. The Workshop aims to help small and midsize cities and counties—those with populations between 50,000 and 500,000—as they develop and implement comprehensive housing strategies.

The chosen applicants demonstrated creativity and commitment to addressing affordability challenges, and an understanding of the pivotal role that housing can play in promoting resident health and addressing historical racial disparities. They represent a broad national geography, and were chosen from an exceptionally strong group of cities that applied. The 2022 Housing Solutions Workshop cities are:
