Data Talks: Understanding Housing Quality

Watch the Housing Solutions Lab’s free, 45-minute webinar, the fifth of our Data Talks series. This episode focused on how communities can use code violation data, resident surveys, property inventories, and other local data sources to better understand housing conditions and inform home repair programs, tenant protections, neighborhood investment strategies, and other interventions.

Claudia Aiken, Director of New Research Partnerships, hosted our session. Joining us for a fireside chat are Rico Razo, Chief of Home Repair and Neighborhood Services for the City of Detroit, and Isaac Robb, Vice President of Planning, Research and Urban Projects for the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC), who shared their experience with innovative ways to collect and use housing quality data at the local level.
